BACKGROUND

Mark Gonzalez and partners founded Gonzalez-Webb Engineering, Inc. in May of 1993. In May of 1998, Gonzalez Webb Strength, Inc. was created through a successful merger with Gay, Strength & Associates. In October of 2000 Gonzalez-Strength & Associates, Inc. was formed.

Mr. Gonzalez is the Engineer of record and oversees the entire Civil Design portion on all projects. This includes project design, project schedule, production, engineering, quality control, and coordination with client and other design teams. Gonzalez-Strength & Associates, Inc. is known for quality and thoroughness of engineering plans, responsiveness to clients concerns, and creative economical design.

BACKGROUND

As a principal of the firm, Mr. Strength is in charge of the Land Surveying portion of project design, project schedule, production quality control and coordination with client and other design teams. Mr. Strength is the Surveyor of record for all Land Surveying performed by Gonzalez-Strength & Associates.

Types of surveys performed under Mr. Strength’s supervision include: GPS (Global Positions Surveys) utilizing both “real-time” and static capabilities, Horizontal and Vertical Control Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys and Construction Surveys. Gonzalez-Strength & Associates, Inc. is known for quality and thoroughness of surveying plans and responsiveness to clients’ concerns.

BACKGROUND

James Brown has over 30 years experience in the design, construction and project management on a variety of transportation and civil engineering projects. Mr. Brown has worked on the design of airports, mass transit, major multi-level interchanges, urban streets, rural roads, county roads and bridges, parking lots and toll roads all over the Midwest and Southeast United States. Mr. Brown has designed and or managed over 100 projects with ALDOT in the past 24 years.

Prior to his association with Gonzalez-Strength & Associates, Inc. Mr. Brown’s employers included Almon Associates, CTE Engineers, Inc., PBS&J, Inc., and HNTB Corporation.

Mr. Gregory directs the Planning and Landscape Architecture Department and oversees project design, project schedule, production, public presentations, quality control, and coordination with clients and other design teams.

Bob Allen joined Gonzalez-Strength & Associates in 1979. He has over 30 years experience as a party chief. Current responsibilities include the daily management of survey crews, communication between Engineers and Survey Crews, preparing jobs for crews, calculations, and CADD work. He prices construction staking jobs, supervises field work, writes legal descriptions, reviews field work, reviews drawings, coordinates work with utility companies and researches deeds and ownership on properties to be surveyed.

BACKGROUND

Mr. Coleman has more than 36 years of experience in engineering and project management in the nuclear, utility and most recently pipeline industry. He has a wide variety of pipeline experience which includes planning, design, permitting, costs, scheduling, construction management and operations. This experience involves projects of various fluid media, pipe sizes, lengths, appurtenant facilities and
geographic locations in North America. His utility and nuclear power activities were performed as an employee or contractor of the federal government giving him extensive governmental agency experience
that allowed him to work on government complex infrastructure and power plant, production, laboratory, process and office facilities.
